Went to a friend’s wedding the other day. Being Asian, and having lots of Asian friends, most of the weddings that I go to are flavoured with all sorts of Asian traditions. To the outsider, they may seem interesting, but for me, i’ve seen it so many times before that the wedding thing is a bit “the same”.

Cue my friend Teresa and her fiance (now husband) Adam’s wedding. Croatian mixed with Italian traditions. I loved that they got bound together by ribbons during their first dance (italian tradition), i loved the way her family heckled the speeches all night (apparently a very european thing to do) and i loved the bridesmaids dresses and the flowers! 

I think that their wedding is my only non-asian one for the year :(
